Some
history: a former cheerleader, whose parents, shortly
after she found out she was the Slayer, divorced.
Her and her mom came to SunnyD for a fresh start,
if you will. But basically, as soon as Buffy set
foot in the school she met her new Watcher, Giles.
He informed her that SunnyD was actually located
on top of the Hellmouth, a gateway to an evil dimension.

 Buffy
by no means has it easy. She died in the first season
technically for a few minutes, by The Master's hands.
Only to be brought back by scooby buddy: Xander.
Second season she met two old friends of Angel's,
Spike & Dru. She met another Slayer: Kendra,
who came to town because of Buffy's "death".
Her boyfriend, Angel, lost his soul, and began to
torture her and her friends. Angelus killed Jenny,
and quickly annoyed Spike. Dru killed Kendra and
Spike made a deal with Buffy. Buffy then had to
kill Angel, who got his soul back just late. |

In
Season three, she discovered she couldn't hide
from her duty, and she returned to SunnyD, and
so did Angel. Faith came to town and caused problems.
The Mayor decided he'd be the big bad this season
and total the High School.
In Season four, Buffy found a new boyfriend, Parker.
Who turned out to be a jerk. Then she got involved
with Riley, discovered the Initiative, had to
stop a creature made by a professor, and save
the human race.
Season
5, she got a sister, lost Riley, discovered Spike
had hidden feelings for her and found out that
death was her gift. Plus on top of all that, she
lost her mom, due to natural reasons, no demon
had anything to do with it. Her sister was really
a ball of energy or a key to open a gate. So a
God, named Glory was searching for it so she could
go home. The monks hid The Key in the form of
her sister, Dawn. Glory, who was Ben, brain sucked
Tara, leaving her insane and then found out Dawn
was The Key. She kidnaped Dawn and Buffy went
into a state of catatonia. Willow came into 'Buffy's
World' and brought her back. Then Buffy found
that once the ritual starts, the only way to stop
it is for the blood to stop, hence Dawn must die.
She then decided that if the ritual starts they
all die, cause she wasn't going to loose anyone
else she cared about. By the end the ritual was
started and Buffy realized that 'death was her
gift'. She could Dawn's place and closed the gate
with her life. Because the monks made Dawn out
of her and that meant Dawn was Buffy, so their
blood was the same.

Season
6 ... (As of Ep 1 & 2: Bargaining)
Buffy was dead at the beginning, and the gang, not
including Spike, Giles, and Dawn, decided to bring
her back. Only as they did the ritual, they didn't
bother to dig her up, and a gang of demons chased
them away. Buffy did come back and found herself
trapped with no air. She had to dig her way to the
surface. She was disorientated and confused, until
Dawn found her at the tower. |
