Xander,
being born and raised in SunnyHell, has a typical
dysfunctional family. Although we never see his
parents we did hear them fight a lot, while Xander
lived in the basement. He and Willow, have been
best friends since they were young. He as a long
line of failed runs at a relationship with a female,
a she-mantis teacher, an Inca mummy, Cordelia (kissed
Willow), and he even had a quickie with Faith. Then
came ex-demon Anya and current flame.

At
the end of season five, he proposed to her, and
she slapped him. She thought he was only proposing
to her, because the world was gonna end and he wouldn't
have to go through with it. He explained that he
believed the world wasn't going to end and she said
to give the ring to her after the world doesn't
end. |

Xander
decided not to go to UC SunnyD, but on a self discovery
trip, to which ended early, due to lack of funds.
Then he fond himself in need of a job, which he
did find one, as a bartender. Though under age and
the beer was tainted. |

He and Anya are engaged, by he doesn't want anyone
to know, he's waiting for the right moment. He helped
bring Buffy back, but they forgot to dig her up
first, he feels extremely stupid for doing that,
as do the others... |
