Buffy is not back yet and her name is Anne, she's working as a waitress. Back in SunnyD the gang, heading into senior year, Willow, Xander, Cordelia and Oz try to handle things without getting themselves killed, while Giles searches for leads on where Buffy's at. Buffy does come back, by the 2nd episode and Angel returns from Hell, in episode 4: 'Beauty and the Beasts'. Faith, a new slayer hits town, bringing with her trouble. There's also a race for who will become Homecoming Queen, between Buffy and Cordelia. We meet Anyanka, for the first time in 'The Wish' when Cordelia wishes that Buffy had ever came to SunnyD, and all hell breaks loose. But we do get to meet Vamp Willow and she kicks ass. Vamp Willow returns in: 'Doppelgangland'. Xander has an experince with zombies in: 'The Zeppo'. Led by Jack the gang of zombies plan to blow up the school, but Xander stops their evil plan, all by himself. Well Oz in wolf mode does help at the end a bit. Wesley's introduced as a new watcher for Faith. He develops a crush on Cordelia. Then there's the Mayor the big bad of the season and the destroyers of the SunnyD High School, in the season 2 pt, ender: 'Graduation Day'.
