The Gang hits the books again, this time at the University of California in SunnyD. Minus Xander, who returns early from his self-discovery adventure. Buffy gets a new boyfriend, Parker, (definitely has poor choice in men) and an evil roommate, Kathy (? - can't remember her name) James Marsters (Spike) returns as a new series regular, and gets to go through hell, as he gets caught by The Initiative. We learn Anya has a fear of bunnies, as when Xander asks her dress up for Halloween in something scary, she comes as a bunny. Xander becomes a bartender, and we experience the 'Bad Beer' episode, which is pretty sad. Not the best episode of BtVS I've ever seen.
